AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA 2016 Fair and Polish Chamber Of Steelwork conference

Between 31.05-2.06 Kielce hosted the XXII International Fair of Road Construction Industry AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA where Polish Chamber of Steelwork was present along with member companies.

This year’s event was special for several reasons: on the first day, just after the opening of the fair, a large collective stand of Polish Chamber of Steelwork was visited by Andrzej Adamczyk, Minister of Infrastructure and Development. A few minutes later the conference, which was co-organized by Chamber and Research Institute of Roads and Bridges began. The title of the conference was: “Steel or concrete road bridges?“. The conference ended with quite a diplomatic statement, assuming that the superiority of one material over the other cannot be determined – the choice between the steel and the concrete depends on many different factors. In the evening, at the gala, PIKS General Director, Karol Heidrich, received from the Board of Kielce Trade Fairs statuette with a diploma and congratulations for the 20th anniversary of the Chamber.

The next morning, Chamber  along with the member companies and partners celebrated its anniversary, and in the evening the participants feasted by the fire.
